Reporting to the Tender & Compliance Manager, your role as a pharmacist in this department, will include providing essential technical pharmaceutical advise, sales and administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the department. Your role involves ensuring pharmaceutical items supplied by the company are of a high standard of quality, Pharmacy standard operating procedures are current with local and internation regulations and laws. The administrative tasks include maintaining records, coordinating communication, and assisting the team with various activities. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the department's effectiveness and help maintain a productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Control: Ensure that pharmaceutical product non -compliance issues are treated with discretion through initiating product recalls and referred to manufacturers for further quality analysis and results reported to relevant authorities (NdoH).
• Quality assurance: Ensure that all pharmaceutical items supplied by City Pharmacy Limited are of high quality
• Operational support for Pharmacy Department: Ensure SOPs for all pharmacy operations are up to date with latest pharmacy regulations.
• Pharmaceutical Compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines to maintain safe and legal practice.
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support interdepartmental coordination and effective communication
• Market Surveillance: Monitor the pharmaceutical market for any alerts, product bans, or safety notices issued by regulatory agencies and communicate them internally as necessary.
• Internal Audits & Inspections: Participate in regular audits and internal reviews to assess compliance with quality assurance protocols and regulatory standards.
• Tender Documentation Support: Assist in preparing and reviewing pharmaceutical tender documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tender requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications,Skills,Knowledge, and Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from an accrediated institution.
• Fresh graudates are encouraged to apply.
• in- depth knowledge of pharmacy laws,regulations and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in Quality Control and Quality assurance of drugs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medication interactions, contraindications, and side effects.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology.
• A fair background of the wholesale and retail pharmaceutical market.
