Job Role
The IT Specialist will lead the simplification, standardisation, and systemisation of internal processes, supporting the operational backbone of education programs. The role ensures seamless day-to-day operations by implementing integrated IT systems, managing logistics, and coordinating with educators and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Simplification, Standardisation & Systemisation
- Streamline and standardise workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Implement IT solutions to systemise operations.
- Leverage data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source and evaluate vendors for educational and operational supplies.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness and quality control in procurement.
- Logistics & Inventory Management
- Manage end-to-end logistics for program delivery, including kits, materials, and software.
- Monitor and maintain inventory across multiple locations.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and distribution to ensure timely readiness.
- Prepare and quality-check learning kits and materials in alignment with curriculum standards.
- Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with educators to ensure operational readiness.
- Support administrative, marketing, and event-related tasks when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree Information Systems, Education Technology, Business, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience in project and IT management, in EdTech or education environments.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven ability to lead process improvement and system implementation projects.
- Familiar with platforms such as School Management Systems, LMS, HRMS, and Inventory Systems.
- Professional Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused.
- Comfortable working across functions with tech, operations, and education teams.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
