Job Role

The Chemical Sales Manager - Indonesia will be responsible for developing and expanding the client’s polyurethane raw material sales in Indonesia. The role focuses on building sales channels, acquiring customers, and promoting core products including rigid foam polyols, flexible foam polyols, high-resilience polyols, composite polyols, and coal mine safety products, highly contributing to revenue generations, as well as branding, and customer satisfaction and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and acquire new customers in target industries across Indonesia.
  • Develop distribution channels and strengthen relationships with existing accounts.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to guide sales strategy.
  • Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, manage contracts, and oversee the full sales cycle.
  • Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with headquarters and technical teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Report sales results, forecasts, and market trends regularly to management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Experience:
    • Having 7 years of experience in Sales functions.
    • At least 2 years of experience in managerial level roles.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in polyurethane raw material sales.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English (must) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional Qualities:
    • Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
    • Self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage work pressures and deadlines.
