Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on exposure to requirement gathering, change management, backlog refinement, and Agile delivery practices. The intern will collaborate with product development, and QA teams to bridge business needs with technology solutions and ensure product features are delivered with quality and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct requirement elicitation sessions and handle Change Requests (CRs) to ensure business needs are correctly captured.
Analyze product/solution impact and define acceptance criteria for CRs; review test cases and verify coverage.
Assist in researching and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning activities.
Facilitate functional refinement sessions with development team members.
Maintain backlog visibility and ensure that user stories are ready for the next two sprints.
Adhere to documentation templates and maintain appropriate detail for epic/story level requirements.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support quality assurance teams.
Support market/competitor research and preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and development teams, to ensure successful implementation of business solutions.
Provide support in identifying business challenges and recommending solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and documentation skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with requirement-gathering techniques, process mapping, and Agile ceremonies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Good communication and presentation skills (Canva, PowerPoint)
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new business processes and tools.
Experience with tools such as JIRA or similar backlog/project management platforms.
Exposure to flow diagramming tools (Draw.io).
Prototyping & Wireframing: Strong knowledge and practical experience with tools like Figma and Canva for creating prototypes and wireframes.
Education
Currently pursuing (Part-Time) or recently completed (Fresh Graduates) a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Nice to Have
Prior to an internship, university project, or coursework in business analysis, IT, or product development.
Certifications or coursework in Business Analysis, Agile, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
