Since commencing operations in 1995, they have built a rich portfolio of over 900 tile motifs and 2,000 variants, offering a blend of creativity and durability. Their extensive marketing network, managed through a subsidiary, spans 46 sub-distributors and more than 35,000 retail outlets across Indonesia, ensuring products reach even the most remote regions.

Job Role

This role will be under its subsidiary, a ceramics distribution company. It has an extensive network of more 46 sub-distributors spread in nearly every major city and town in Indonesia and approximately 21 thousand retail outlets. This network prowess combined with excellent after sales services allow a strong presence for the company in regional markets throughout the Indonesian archipelago.

The Senior Manager Finance Accounting Tax (FAT) will lead the finance and accounting functions, and focus on managing the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-moving, high-volume distribution business, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with Indonesian financial regulations, and effective internal control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance
    • Lead the preparation and review of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PSAK (Indonesian GAAP).
    • Ensure strict compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other statutory requirements.
    • Coordinate and oversee external audits, ensuring timely completion with unqualified (clean) audit results.
  • Accounting & Tax Operations
    • Manage and supervise all accounting processes including AR, AP, inventory, cash flow, GL, and journal entries.
    • Oversee tax planning, reporting, and compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax.
    • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and submissions, supported by Brevet A & B expertise.
    • Monitor reconciliation of bank accounts, ledgers, and financial statements, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings.
  • Internal Controls & Risk Management
    • Strengthen and implement effective internal control systems across finance, accounting, and tax processes.
    • Identify financial and tax-related risks, recommending strategies to mitigate exposure.
    • Oversee compliance in distributor transactions, credit control, and stock handling.
  • Strategic Financial Support & Analysis
    • Partner with business leaders, commercial, and logistics teams to deliver financial insights that drive cost efficiency and profitability.
    • Provide in-depth analysis for margin, cost-to-serve, credit exposure, and tax impact on business decisions.
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance review processes with a strong tax perspective.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's Degree is an advantage.
  • Certifications: Brevet A & B are mandatory. CPA/CFA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of solid experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role leading teams.
  • Language: English (able to read, write, and speak).
  • Industry Background: Manufacturing or Distribution industries with high-volume operations.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, PSAK, and compliance requirements.
    • Proven experience managing tax audits, transfer pricing documentation, and cross-border transactions (if any).
    • Strong background in inventory accounting, AR/AP, and distribution-related financial reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.

    • Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communicator, able to explain complex financial and tax matters to non-financial stakeholders.
