Job Role

As a Media Consultant, you will play a key role in growing and strengthening the publisher network for one of Asia’s leading advertising technology companies. This position focuses on identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with online media partners, helping them monetize their digital inventory through Geniee’s ad tech solutions.

You will act as both a business advisor and a strategic partner to publishers, ensuring their successful integration with the platform while driving revenue for both parties. This role is ideal for someone who is commercially driven, tech-savvy, and passionate about digital media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with potential publisher partners across websites, blogs, and apps to promote digital monetization opportunities.
  • Conduct consultative sales meetings, presenting platform benefits and revenue models tailored to each publisher’s needs.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, manage onboarding processes, and ensure a smooth integration with ad-serving solutions.
  • Monitor publisher performance metrics and provide regular insights and suggestions to optimize ad revenue.
  • Build long-term partnerships by maintaining regular communication, resolving issues proactively, and supporting publishers' growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, product, and operations) to ensure successful campaign delivery and technical support.

Candidate Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: At least Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1–3 years of experience in business development, account management, or digital advertising sales
  • Industry Expertise: Strong experience in ad tech, digital publishing, or media monetization.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with digital advertising terms and tools (e.g., CPM, eCPM, SSP, header bidding, Google Ad Manager) is highly desired.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English on business and professional level, to communicate with the global teams on a daily basis.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Proactive, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
    • Experience working with publishers or media agencies is a strong advantage.
