Job Role
The client is seeking a passionate yet dynamic HRBP to coordinate the establishment and implementation of the human resource management system in Southeast Asia, while supporting the regional business development, and ensure that the human resource strategy is in line with the local market characteristics. The person will also enhance regional organizational efficiency, and facilitate the achievement of business goals through compliant employment, efficient talent supply, and team empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional human resource integrated management
- Formulate the human resources strategy for the Southeast Asia region (including recruitment, compensation, performance, employee relations, etc.) and promote its implementation
- Coordinate human resources affairs in various countries (such as Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Nepal, etc.) to ensure uniform processes and compliance with local regulations.
- Business collaboration and talent support
- Deeply connect with various business teams in Southeast Asia, understand business goals and transform them into human resource demands, ensuring that key position talents are in place in a timely manner
- Promote the construction of regional talent echelon, design targeted training, performance incentives and promotion plans to enhance the combat effectiveness of the team.
- Compliance and risk prevention and control
- Familiar with the labor laws and regulations of Southeast Asian countries, lead the review of employment compliance, and avoid labor risks
- Handle regional employee disputes, salary disputes and other issues, and maintain stable employee relations.
- Cross-regional collaboration
- Coordinate human resource collaboration between the China headquarters and the Southeast Asian region, synchronize policies, integrate resources, and ensure management consistency
- Regularly investigate the dynamics of the regional human resources market (such as salary levels and employment trends) to provide a basis for the headquarters' decision-making
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Experience: More than 5 years of human resources working experience, including at least 3 years of HRBP or human resources coordination experience in the Southeast Asia region, familiar with the employment environment and regulations of major markets such as Thailand and Vietnam.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Chinese and English (can be used as working languages), and in local Southeast Asian languages such as Thai or Vietnamese.
- Technical Expertise: Possess strong overall management capabilities and be able to independently promote cross-national and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Professional Attributes:
- Have good cross-cultural communication skills and be able to adapt to business trips within the region.
- Strong stress resistance, result-oriented, and capable of balancing the standards of the headquarters with regional characteristics.
- Possessing rapid learning ability, strong sense of responsibility, modesty and pragmatism, as well as flexibility.
