Job Role
The client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead all sales, account planning, forecasting, reporting, and team management efforts for key accounts within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by building strategic relationships with stakeholders in the construction, renovation, and interior design industries, while also managing and developing a high-performing sales team. This role will focus on selling interior design solutions under the B2B model, to designers, contractors, developers, and stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all sales, account planning, forecasting, reporting, and revenue management initiatives within the territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Work closely with center management to identify and capture revenue opportunities in the region.
- Frequently accompany Sales Professionals on client visits and assist in securing major new accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, especially within the new construction, repair, and remodeling sectors.
- Identify and convert opportunities with contractors, architects, builders, and distribution/channel partners.
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, coaching, and training of the sales team.
- Drive collaboration between sales, marketing, operations, and product teams for seamless execution.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, performance analysis, and executive reports to management.
- Ensure strong brand presence and expansion of customer base in both residential and commercial building markets.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- Experience:
- Over 6 years of proven success in sales and sales management roles.
- At least 5 years of experience in building materials, and working closely with interior design professionals.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Interior design materials market.
- Residential and commercial construction markets.
- Strong network or database within the construction and interior design ecosystem.
- Language Skills: business-level oral and written English.
- Professional Skills:
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop sales teams.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing abilities.
- Business planning and financial report literacy.
- Mobility:
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Must possess a valid driving license (SIM A and/or SIM C).
- Must have own car.
