Role Overview:
The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related functions, ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations, and developing effective tax strategies that align with the company’s business goals. This role involves collaboration across departments and external stakeholders to manage tax filings, audits, and ongoing tax planning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tax strategies that comply with applicable local, regional, and national tax laws and regulations.
Manage the timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, PPh 21/23/4(2), and others.
Lead tax planning initiatives to optimize liabilities and support business growth objectives.
Conduct research on emerging tax issues, policy updates, and regulatory changes.
Coordinate and support tax audits and investigations from authorities, ensuring documentation and compliance.
Liaise with external tax advisors and consultants when necessary.
Collaborate with the finance and accounting team to ensure tax accuracy in financial reporting.
Establish, implement, and monitor internal tax controls and ensure their ongoing effectiveness.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial and tax implications.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Brevet A & B certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of tax-related experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, tax compliance procedures, and tax reporting standards.
Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated success in tax planning, audit handling, and risk mitigation.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Must be able to join immediately and work full-time onsite (WFO) in South Jakarta.
