Role Overview:
The Mechanical Engineering Manager leads the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within major industrial projects. This role requires deep experience in equipment manufacturing, construction, and reliability engineering to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient mechanical operations.
Job Description:
Manage mechanical construction activities across engineering projects
Supervise mechanical system design, installation, and safety compliance
Lead formulation of technical and project implementation plans
Review and approve equipment drawings, layouts, and technical specifications
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead failure analysis and corrective actions
Optimize system performance, reliability, and lifecycle maintenance strategies
Requirements:
Willing to work on-site - Morowali, Indonesia
College degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Over 5 years of experience in mechanical equipment construction, maintenance, and commissioning
Strong understanding of mechanical systems in manufacturing or industrial plant settings
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills
Physical capability and leadership experience in field-based environments
Proficiency in Chinese and English preferred
