Role Overview:

The Chemical Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the technical and operational performance of the sulfuric acid plant. This includes ensuring efficient production processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in chemical engineering and strong leadership in production environments.

Job Description:

  • Oversee technical operations across the entire sulfuric acid production process
  • Manage molten sulfur handling, acid production, chemical water systems, and steam output
  • Establish and implement a robust quality control system
  • Provide technical direction to meet output and quality targets
  • Review and evaluate engineering designs and modifications
  • Ensure all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and reduce operational costs

Requirements:

  • Willing to work on-site - Morowali, Indonesia
  • College degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in hydrometallurgy processes
  • Proficient in chemical production processes, quality control systems, and safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Capable of leading and developing a technical team
  • Strong physical capability and willingness to work on-site
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English preferred
