Role Overview

The General Manager – Industrial Park is responsible for the comprehensive management of infrastructure facilities supporting smelting operations, including the jetty, power supply, utilities, roads, and related assets. The role requires a strategic thinker with proven capability in developing and managing large-scale industrial infrastructure within the mining or heavy industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end operations of the Industrial Park infrastructure supporting downstream processing.
  • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of support systems including power generation, logistics (jetty), water treatment, and other essential services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize infrastructure performance, minimize downtime, and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and contractors to ensure reliable and sustainable infrastructure operations.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, government agencies, and local stakeholders.
  • Identify infrastructure expansion or improvement opportunities and lead related project development efforts.
  • Monitor environmental and safety compliance across infrastructure operations.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional site teams, fostering a culture of operational excellence and safety.

Requirements:

  • Willing to work on-site - Morowali, Indonesia
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the mining industry's downstream sector
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale operations and teams
  • Strong knowledge of industrial infrastructure and site logistics (for Industrial Park role)
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Willingness to be stationed full-time at the project site
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement
