Job Overview:
Metana is seeking a passionate and experienced Go-to-Market Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to bring new solutions to market. You’ll leverage your technical knowledge to create strategies that engage customers, provide valuable product insights, and support sales teams in technical sales activities. You’ll be the bridge between engineering and marketing, ensuring Metana’s products meet customer needs and are positioned effectively in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Strategy Development: Work with product and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
Technical Sales Support: Provide technical support for sales teams by creating demos, technical materials, and presentations that help close deals.
Product Evangelism: Represent Metana in external forums, webinars, and events to evangelize the product and educate potential customers.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success teams to align product features with customer needs and market demands.
Customer Insights: Gather feedback from customers and the sales team to inform product development and improve market strategies.
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to support sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
Training: Provide training and support for the sales and customer success teams on new product features and technical details.
Analytics: Monitor product performance post-launch, analyze customer feedback, and iterate on go-to-market strategies based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1+ years of experience in a technical or sales engineering role, preferably in technology-based companies.
Strong technical background with proficiency in modern software development frameworks.
Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
Experience working closely with sales and product teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate product performance and customer feedback.
Previous experience in customer-facing roles or technical sales is a plus.
