We are looking for a Business Development Executive who will actively identify, engage, and close business opportunities across these verticals, contributing directly to the growth and success of the company.
Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new revenue channels, building strategic partnerships, and securing business for the company’s services across artist management, live events, content production, and digital development. The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented self-starter with excellent relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of sales, sponsorships, partnerships, and creative solutions selling.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Sales
- Identify and pursue business opportunities across the following revenue streams: Outright Play: Sponsorships for live shows, music videos, and influencer campaigns Brand ambassadorship deals for artists Bookings for weddings, corporate events, and concerts Outright Media House: Sales of video productions, audio productions, and photography projects Outright Labs: Generate business for web development, digital solutions, and creative tech projects
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Partnership Development & Client Management
- Build and nurture relationships with brands, corporate clients, event organizers, ad agencies, and producers.
- Understand client needs and propose customized solutions across the company's service portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver pitches, proposals, and presentations to potential clients and partners.
Strategy & Market Research
- Identify new business channels, market trends, and partnership opportunities.
- Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights for business growth.
- Maintain regular communication with the creative, production, and artist management teams to align on project possibilities and offerings.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue performance.
- Provide monthly forecasts and meet agreed-upon KPIs and sales goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Proven experience (1–2 years) in sales, business development, or partnerships, preferably in entertainment, media, digital marketing, or event management. ✅ Strong networking and relationship-building skills. ✅ Ability to identify client needs and deliver solution-based sales pitches. ✅ Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. ✅ Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. ✅ Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil (spoken and written). ✅ Familiarity with CRM tools, reporting, and sales tracking is a plus. ✅ Passion for the music, entertainment, creative, and digital industries.
