Responsibilities

• Routine Inspections & Preventive Maintenance
  • Inspecting common areas and office floors, covering electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, with major servicing handled by AMC contractors.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs
  • Diagnose and repair minor issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Handle basic carpentry, door lock repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
• Operational Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor, check, and log HVAC, electrical, and plumbing system data.
  • Conduct daily electric and water meter readings and report abnormalities.
• Emergency Response & Safety Compliance
  • Respond to job requests and emergency maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure fire protection, CCTV, and security systems are operational and maintained.
• Coordination & Vendor Management
  • Assist the Building Facility Manager in maintenance planning and improvement programs.
  • Work with AMC vendors for specialized maintenance services.
• Regulatory Compliance & General Support
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and building regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager for smooth operations.

Requirements

• · NVQ Level 4 or a relevant certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Maintenance.
• Minimum 3–5 years in facility maintenance, preferably in office buildings.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and building codes.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Uniform & Equipment:

• Uniform Provided by Company: Company-branded overalls or workwear.
• Safety Gear: Safety shoes, gloves, helmet (if required).
• Tools Provided: Basic maintenance toolkit, multimeter, plumbing tools, etc.
