Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Facility Manager to oversee and manage our clients' facilities remotely. This role involves monitoring building systems, coordinating maintenance, analyzing energy data, responding to alerts, and ensuring optimal performance of client facilities using our IoT-based platforms and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor facility systems (HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, security, etc.) via IoT dashboards and remote management tools.
• Review alerts and diagnostics to identify issues such as temperature fluctuations, system failures, or energy inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with onsite staff or vendors to address maintenance needs or emergencies.
• Provide regular reports and insights to clients regarding energy use, equipment performance, and preventive maintenance.
• Implement and manage facility schedules to optimize energy consumption and comfort.
• Support installation and onboarding of new clients' systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of service tickets, work orders, and system status updates.
• Act as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and third-party service providers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility management, building operations, or energy management (remote experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS), CMMS platforms, and IoT monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple client accounts remotely.
• Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, cloud-based platforms, and data reporting tools.

Preferred

• Certifications in Facility Management or Energy Management
• Experience working with HVAC, refrigeration, and IoT systems.
• Understanding of energy efficiency practices and sustainability initiatives.
