Job Description:

Qualification: Graduate in any stream & MBA in Sales Domain

Reporting to: Head - International Alliances & Busines

Prerequisites: Local Nationals

Experience Preferably Includes - ✓ Successful track record of selling technology solutions, SW Products & Services and business concepts in major accounts. ✓ Should have sold software solution /e Governance solutions worth 5 to 10 M USD & more in a year. ✓ Developing and implementing a sales strategy for the region for Software Platform, Services with Govt and Enterprise ✓ Good experience in B2G/B selling. ✓ Building and maintaining relationships with senior management in major accounts in Govt. and BFSI sector. ✓ Excellent knowledge of local and international procurement policy. ✓ Minimum 8-10 years of Sales experience in the region for a software or service company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop individual sales plan both short term and long term to maximize opportunities within the designated territory. • Specific focus designated, acquire and maintain to an expert level knowledge of Protean’s value propositions, services and solutions. • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Protean’s competitor activities, products, solutions and services. • Development of relationships with personnel capable of giving business value with regard to opportunity. • To qualify and quantify the requirements of the customer(s) / partner(s) in all areas so that Protean’s solutions may be seen to add value. • To direct the Protean’s bid management process from time to time. • Work professionally with Protean’s management to ensure that any bid/proposal is risk averse, profitable and meets with the company’s long-term strategy. • Provide accurate monthly forecasting of business opportunities within the designated account(s) using predefined formats/CRM

• Administer all sales engagements in such a way that all information is available to others on demand, specifically the Director via sales force sales management too

Role Expectations:

Below are the key indicators for given role - Sales Management- • A rolling 12 months Sales Plan, which outlines how Product/Service penetration to be achieved and shows development in the 12-to-24 month timeframe. • Closing plans for all opportunities within the 12-month timeframe are published and agreed with all relevant parties. Business Development- • Has an extensive knowledge of the specific business areas with relevance to their designated product and service offerings.

  1. Integrated Tax and Custom Systems – for revenue authorities
  2. Identity Systems e.g. National ID, Driving License, Civil Registration, Mobile ID, Digital ID – B2G and B2B (for Telco and BFSI Sector) e-Kyc, e-Sign, e-Auth
  3. E-Health Care – Patient ID, Tele Medicine, Online eHealth Platform for B2G and B2B-
  4. Digital Public Goods – Open Source Technology and solutions
  5. Pension & Social Security system
  6. E-Commerce – Solution for (Mobile App) for Consumers, Banks, Sellers and Buyers using end to end Customer Onboarding & integrated Paymen

• Conducts negotiations with the necessary approvals from the management to ensure opportunities are successfully closed. • Aware of major opportunities in the accounts, which arise from the specific solution verticals. • Order input, revenue and margin targets are achieved.

Business Relationships- • Maintains good relationships with managers and staff and Protean’s partners and alliances. • Excellent business relationships with the customer’s senior managements. Marketing- • A marketing plan to position the Protean’s product or service against the key competitors. • Create & build brand Protean as a trusted partner to deliver and to protect the customer’s interest

Enhancing Business- • Regularly reviews with the projects and delivery teams how the solutions and services implemented and how those can be expanded

Knowledge & Business Focus & Communication: • RSM should possess the following competencies:- o Awareness of competitive offerings and end to end sales management process. o Financial Management, Sales Price, Margin, Local Tax and Duty, Profit concept o Knowledge of business solutions, business requirement, new market technology trend, service methods, contract negotiations, o Project management methodology and operational methodology. Business Focus- • Creates best practice ways of working and leads others to adopt them • Makes timely decision in line with best financial interests of Protean’s product and services

Open Communication- • Makes a clear positive impression and establishes credibility with those they meet • Translates complex information into understandable messages for colleagues, customers and other stake holders. • Informs others of progress against strategic milestones or objectives. • Develop a sound awareness of the customer’s business situation and continually • Good knowledge of English, verbal and written
