Job Summary: The Junior Finance Executive at Medics.Academy supports the finance team in managing financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to financial management within the healthcare education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reports specific to healthcare education financial operations.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements for training programs, partnerships, and academic services.
  • Support monthly and annual financial closing procedures, ensuring compliance with Medics.Academy policies.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports tailored to education and training initiatives.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for courses, faculty payments, and operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Medics.Academy’s financial policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data for training programs, student enrollments, and institutional partnerships.
  • Assist in financial audits and provide necessary documentation related to grants, sponsorships, and educational funding.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing for educational services.
  • Perform other finance-related administrative tasks as required to support the growth of Medics.Academy.

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the healthcare or education sector.
  • Basic knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations related to educational institutions.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and financial software (e.g., XERO).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with an understanding of financial data in the healthcare education space.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
