Job Summary

The Junior Admin Executive is responsible for smooth communications between company departments and to support certain critical Admin functions within the team.

The role involves working closely with the company CEO. This dynamic position requires the ability to dedicate the headspace and time to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

The position is currently offered remotely in Sri Lanka only with the Medics.Academy team.

This position is an entry-level position in the Medics.Academy.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

The following is a list of primary tasks and responsibilities associated with this role:

  • Provide “gatekeeper” and “gateway” roles, providing a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO and staff
  • Manage smooth communications between departments
  • Process internal requests from other staff
  • Schedule meetings; draft agendas; develop, compile, and distribute presentation materials
  • Supporting Chief of Staff to CEO in day to day operations
  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Experience and other requirements

  • Computer and internet literacy skills
  • Strong internet connection and a computer with which to work (company-issued equipment may be distributed after probationary period).
  • Although this is a remote position we are looking for a candidate that is Sri Lankan based for the foreseeable future 2 years minimum
  • Strong English literacy and verbal fluency
  • Have time to dedicate to this role and really make it their own
  • Great organisation skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Great time management and analytical skills
  • Takes initiative
  • Experience in administrative support
