DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (IoT Platform)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to
support the development, deployment, and reliability of our IoT platform. The ideal candidate
should have experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure, automating deployments,
and ensuring high availability of production systems. A passion for technology, willingness to
dive into the IoT domain, and expertise in LoRaWAN are key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure to support IoT platform
development and operations.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless deployment of applications
and services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to enhance security, scalability, and
efficiency of applications.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Establish and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system
uptime and observability.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in DevOps, SRE, IoT, and LoRaWAN technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Information Technology, Electronics,
Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience:
• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like
Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or
Datadog.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Domain Knowledge:
• Willingness to learn the IoT domain (mandatory).
Soft Skills:
• Self-motivated and proactive with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with development and operations teams.
• Effective communication skills for documentation and knowledge sharing.
