As our Business Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in expanding our footprint in the Malaysia market. Your responsibilities will include identifying trends and insights of clients needs, along with planning and executing activities related to business development. Hype is one of the most innovative digital marketing agencies in the industry, coupled with our global presence, we offer unique and state-of-the-art marketing solutions to solve our clients day to day marketing needs.

What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for hunting/prospecting and closing business at all revenue levels
• Grows and manages a balanced pipeline with a strong revenue target in mind
• Generates new business leads throughout the sales cycle
• Promotes the Hype services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
• Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with senior managers, partners, and other stakeholders
• Identifies, explores, and evaluates business opportunities
• Meets all KPI/Activity requirements as outlined by management.

What are we looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience in B2B sales environment, preferably in marketing and digital development services
• Proven business development and prospecting results, including winning, delivering, and retaining key clients
• ‘Hunter’ sales personality with enthusiasm to solve clients’ problems
• Good relationship building skills: able to generate new business opportunities and nurture relationships with new and existing clients
• Proficient in English; fluency in Malay and Mandarin is advantageous.
• Knowledge of digital marketing best practices is advantageous.
• The ability to translate complex business concepts into easy-to-understand strategies and tasks
