This is a full-time remote role as an OpenStack expert. We are developing an OpenStack cloud service. We are looking for an OpenStack expert with experience in open "vanilla" OpenStack.

The candidate will assist with OpenStack architecture design and implementation, provide operational assistance, and work in hands-on manner on our OpenStack environment.

Key Qualification & Experience:

• OpenStack Deployment - at least 4 years.
• Ceph Storage - design, implementation, and operational management - at least 4 years.
• Experience in managing production OpenStack instances - at least 2 years.
• Networking.
• Kolla-ansible experience.
• Ansible automation and Bash scripting
• OpenStack deployment and design.
• OpenStack services troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with Linux/Ubuntu and OS scripting.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.

The candidate will work remotely with other team members in the USA, Egypt and/or other international locations. Candidate must ensure availability daily Monday-Friday during 9AM-2PM US Pacific Time, working overlap with Egypt timezone. Occasional weekend meetings may be needed as well.
