About QPON

QPON is an innovative software product designed for the tourism industry, aimed at enhancing customer experience and streamlining merchant operations. We are on a mission to revolutionize the way tourists and merchants interact, providing seamless and efficient solutions.

Role Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead - Client Acquisition & Sales Operations to spearhead the launch of QPON. This role is critical in driving merchant sign-ups, leading the sales team, and managing the operational aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will work closely with the founders to develop and execute the customer acquisition strategy, ensuring the successful rollout and growth of QPON.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchant Sign-Ups:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and onboard a diverse range of merchants to the QPON platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing merchants, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential merchant partners and assess competitive offerings.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of merchant leads, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up.

Sales Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, plans, and processes to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to the executive team.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.

Product Roadmap:

  • Collaborate with the product development team to understand the product roadmap and ensure alignment with market needs and business objectives.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to influence productfeatures and enhancements.
  • Participate in product planning meetings and contribute to the development of new features and functionalities.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels are met.

Customer Acquisition Strategy:

  • Work closely with the founders to develop and execute customer acquisition strategies, driving user growth and engagement.
  • Analyse customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns and initiatives to attract and retain customers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of customer acquisition efforts, adjustingas needed.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including merchants, customers, partners, and vendors, to ensure smooth operations and successful partnerships.
  • Represent QPON at industry events, conferences, and meetings, building the company's reputation and network.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics and reporting systems to monitor progress and drive accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior operations role, preferably within the software or tourism industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
