Junior Business Analyst

What You’ll Do

1. Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product teams to identify strategic priorities and delineate the overarching scope for each feature, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

2. Requirement Analysis & Documentation: Examine business prerequisites, transform them into high-quality business solutions, and proficiently document and convey them to project and product development teams.

3. Research & Development: Collaborate with delivery, product, and development leaders to engage in research and development in alignment with the strategic product road-map. Conduct thorough analysis of competitor products to delineate requirements and propose innovative business solutions.

4. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate approval processes and adeptly articulate user, business, and functional requirements to all stakeholders, encompassing management, software development, and quality assurance teams.

5. Issue Resolution: Proactively mitigate and address outstanding issues while collaborating with delivery teams to tackle pivotal defects and ensure seamless project execution.

6. Requirement Translation: Act as the intermediary between the product and delivery teams, guaranteeing that high-level requirements are transformed into detailed specifications for development and testing.

7. Task Management: Strategize, oversee, and execute business analysis tasks and activities while adhering to project deadlines and objectives with a profound emphasis on the excellence of the product or solution.

8. Testing & Training: Supervise operational test suites and orchestrate in-house educational sessions and product exhibitions to guarantee stakeholders are well-versed and adequately prepared.

What We’re Looking For

1. Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an Agile environment.

3. Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, JIRA, Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, and Power BI for requirement gathering, management, and analysis.

4. Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Postman to validate integration and workflows.

5. Prototyping & Wireframing: Strong knowledge and practical experience with tools like Figma and Canva for creating prototypes and wireframes.

6. Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide a team, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure clarity in requirements and deliverables.

7. Collaboration: The ability to interface with onsite and offsite staff and function as the single point of contact for requirements.

8. Product Design Passion: A passion for innovative product design and the ability to foresee business trends.

9. Analytical Skills: Excellent logical and analytical skills, with a strong eye for detail.

10. Documentation Skills: Proven experience in writing user stories, use cases, and detailed software requirements specifications with excellent written and spoken English skills.

11. Curiosity & Adaptability: Must be curious and possess the ability to acquire domain and technical knowledge rapidly.

12. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

13. Leadership & Organization: Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills, including the ability to ensure schedules are met with a strong focus on quality.

14. Professional Certifications: Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or ACP will be an added advantage.
