Role Purpose:

This role will involve working directly with clients and assisting them with bookkeeping and reporting activities.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Proficient working in Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB client files.
  • All client file Bookkeeping including reconciliation, payroll, and superannuation.
  • Process payroll including employee setup.
  • Process (STP) Single Touch Payroll.
  • BAS including Workpapers.
  • IAS including Workpapers.
  • Aged payables management.
  • Aged receivables management.
  • Process (SGC) Super Guarantee Charge Forms.
  • Xero Setup and Xero Client Training.
  • Processing (TPAR) Taxable Payments Annual Reports.
  • In charge of client communication.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

  • Accounting Degree in Finance٫ Accounting or Business Administration.
  • 3 – 5 years' overall accounting experience and 3+ years Australian bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Knowledge on Australian tax laws.
  • Well-developed communication and client management skills.
  • A team player who can also work autonomously.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to accept changed priorities and recognize the merits of different options and acts accordingly.
