As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our team in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to work closely with the CEO and contribute to our financial success and strategic objectives.

Role Purpose:

As a Management Accountant, you will be a key player in driving financial insight and supporting the CEO in making data-driven decisions. This role will involve financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
• Conduct variance analysis on financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide insights into profitability, cost control, and overall financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying risks and opportunities

Strategic Financial Support:

• Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business decisions.

Cost Management and Efficiency:

• Analyse and optimize costs across departments to improve profitability.
• Support pricing and margin analysis to maximize revenue potential.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and local regulations.
• Strengthen internal controls and maintain accurate financial records.

Business Partnering and Leadership Support:

• Act as a financial advisor to the CEO, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partner with other teams to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Excellent communication skills with education in English.
• High energy, good personality, and a strong work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal skills and outcome-focused mindset.
• Ability to self-learn and solve problems independently.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential.
