Job Overview

• As the Operations Lead at JustEnglish, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operations, ensuring the smooth execution of online classes, managing moderators, and enhancing the student experience.
• Given our flat hierarchy, you will work directly with the founder, making strategic decisions, implementing improvements, and managing resources to support the company's expansion.
• This role requires a proactive leader who can self-manage, optimize workflows, and contribute to long-term business growth in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and training process for new moderators.
• Lead and motivate the moderator team, setting clear performance goals and expectations.
• Ensure a seamless learning experience for students and implement improvements.
• Develop and implement operational policies for a smoother workflow.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• Track key performance metrics and prepare reports on operational performance.
• Implement and oversee company policies, ensuring efficiency and quality control.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Fully or partially completed degree/professional qualification in Business Management/Administration.
• At least 6 months of experience in a management-related role.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a flat hierarchy.
• Strong management and organizational skills to oversee daily operations.
• Ability to lead and motivate a remote team and handle cross-functional coordination.
• Process improvement mindset, capable of optimizing workflows for efficiency.
• Decision-making and strategic planning abilities to support business expansion.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle dynamic challenges.
