Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled motivated and forward-thinking DevOps professional who is passionate about technology, teamwork, and driving positive change.

Responsibilities:

• Build Scalable deployment solutions in cloud services on given architecture.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.
• Ensure the high performance of production systems through proactive monitoring and optimization.
• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand their requirements and provide assistance and guidance when needed.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, reliability, and security.
• The investigation, remediation, and root cause analysis of production incidents and problems.
• Provide support to engineers for infrastructure , pipeline , and configurations.
• Administration and maintenance of CI/CD tooling including access management, configuration, patches and upgrades.
• Analyzing and decommissioning obsolete infrastructure, pipelines, and configuration.
• Reviewing and mitigating findings from security vulnerability scanning tools.
• Applying patches and upgrades to operating systems, cloud services (e.g. Azure Kubernetes), runtimes (e.g., Node.js, DotNet), containers, etc.
• Coordinating operating activities with third-party software vendors.
• Coordination and execution of deployments to UAT, Production, and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Documentation of systems, processes, and practices.
• Support and execute change management processes.
• Optimize dashboards and reporting for system health, performance, cost, security, and compliance.
• Configuring monitoring, log aggregation, and alerting tools.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps.

Must Have Skills:

• Cloud experience: Azure. AWS and GCP are an added advantage.
• Operating Systems: Linux, Windows.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines: GitLab, GitHub Action, Jenkins.
• Knowledge in containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS.
• Expertise on laC: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation etc.
• Scripting experience: PowerShell.
• Troubleshooting existing applications.
• Understanding of DevOps principles, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Database awareness and basics.
• Jira, Confluence.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bash/Javascript/Python scripting.

Required Attributes:

• Strong interest in learning and ability to adapt to innovative technologies.
• Analytical and problem -solving skills.
• Effective Communication and documentation skills.
• Interest in practicing agile and governance.

Preferred Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related qualification.
• Professional certification preferred (RHCE, AWS SAA, CKA, AZ-900).
