The Role:

  • Bookkeeping: Recording and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented for the multiple companies
  • Cash Flow Planning and Management: Monitoring cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet its obligations, and planning for future financial needs
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide insights into the company's financial health
  • Management Reporting: Creating reports for management that detail financial performance, budget variances, and other critical financial metrics
  • Compliance: Ensuring that all financial practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards
  • Analysis and Forecasting: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, forecast future revenues and expenses, and provide recommendations for financial improvement
  • Internal Processes and Controls: Developing and maintaining internal processes and control systems to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

The Person:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field may be preferred: Fully/Part Qualified with CIMA/CA/ACCA
  • 5+ years of experience, out of which 2 years in final accounting and managing books of accounts and handling compliance matters
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize industry-specific accounting tools
  • Strongly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity of accounts
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask across different types of accounting-related projects
