The Role:
- Bookkeeping: Recording and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented for the multiple companies
- Cash Flow Planning and Management: Monitoring cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet its obligations, and planning for future financial needs
- Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide insights into the company's financial health
- Management Reporting: Creating reports for management that detail financial performance, budget variances, and other critical financial metrics
- Compliance: Ensuring that all financial practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards
- Analysis and Forecasting: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, forecast future revenues and expenses, and provide recommendations for financial improvement
- Internal Processes and Controls: Developing and maintaining internal processes and control systems to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
The Person:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field may be preferred: Fully/Part Qualified with CIMA/CA/ACCA
- 5+ years of experience, out of which 2 years in final accounting and managing books of accounts and handling compliance matters
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize industry-specific accounting tools
- Strongly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity of accounts
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask across different types of accounting-related projects
