The Role

You will primarily support the growth and career development of your engineers and focus on building & developing high-performing and inclusive cross-functional teams, guiding them through any challenges that come with being a scaling tech company.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Agile team.
• Drive architecture design and technical discussions within the engineering team.
• Inspire by being a software engineering role model
• Communicate with business, product, and operations teams
• Ensure the healthy delivery of the end product
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to realize the company's vision in the entertainment industry
• Motivate & Coach the team members while creating a fun atmosphere in the team
• Improve the quality of the end product by leading code reviews, assuring code quality, and promoting best practices
• Develop yourself by willingly learning more & more about technology and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ yrs working experience in creating and maintaining software systems in production environments including Backend/Frontend Web Development Framework (ideally with expertise in Fast API and AWS)
• 1+ yrs in managing an engineering team, or working as the technical leader
• Know-how in leading an Agile Team of Engineers
• Able to design, implement and oversee engineering processes
• In-depth understanding of Modern System Architectures, Design Patterns & Engineering Best Practices, Data Structures
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop your skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
