Role Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer (QE) to join our dynamic team, capable of performing both manual and automated testing. As a QE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Play an active role in test design and execution to ensure product quality throughout the entire lifecycle with minimal supervision.
- Conduct manual testing of mobile applications on various devices and operating systems, including iOS and Android.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications on need basis.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QE engineers to understand requirements and develop thorough test cases.
- Perform both manual and automated testing, identifying and reporting defects promptly.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage that aligns with business requirements.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all test artifacts, adhering to established guidelines and best practices.
- Consistently meet project delivery deadlines.
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of Quality Engineering experience is required.
Qualifications:
Individuals should possess a bachelor's degree in computing, Information Technology or another relevant field.
Must Have Skills:
- Software testing & quality engineering process experience: 2 years.
- Test design
- Test execution
- Reporting
- Test Automation:
- Hands on experience in test automation scripting
- Programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or another relevant language.
- Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of Agile Scrum practices and experience in working in Agile environment
Nice to have skills:
- Experience in Mobile Testing
- Experience with API testing and integration of API tests
