Overview
We are currently seeking an eCommerce & Digital Media Specialist for our client, a renowned luxury goods shop based in Toronto. Known for its exceptional customer service and meticulously crafted products, the client has a long-standing commitment to providing high-quality, Canadian-made apparel and accessories. Specializing in custom fetish gear and fashion-forward apparel, they cater primarily to the community, as well as the straight community, through a direct-to-customer model, serving customers mainly in Canada and the US, with some B2B activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Act as the eCommerce, social media, and content marketing strategist.
- Provide strategies and check the quality of work.
- Responsible for overall performance.
eCommerce Operations:
- Add products to the website.
- Improve and add images to the site.
- Create categories and optimize product listings.
- Conduct product analytics.
- Develop product content.
Social Media and Content Marketing:
- Develop a monthly social media strategy based on brand direction.
- Create social media content and manage influencer marketing and collaborations.
- Post 3-5 times per week.
Website and Email Marketing:
- Manage on-site marketing (banners, product analytics).
- Conduct email marketing campaigns.
Content Creation:
- Create visual content for digital applications, including videos, graphics, animations, and photography for social media, websites, articles, and other marketing materials.
- Manage all areas of video pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Research and gain approval on story materials and topics.
- Work collaboratively with teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with overall communications.
- Build and manage a rich content calendar to attract, inform, and engage qualified audiences.
- Generate and develop multimedia video content for external promotional videos, marketing videos, recruitment videos, and other projects.
- Search for visual material needed for various publications.
- Conceptualize and design digital content for social media, websites, and email campaigns.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Experience with marketing-communications initiatives and executing tactics.
- Experience creating social media content and digital media, including writing materials.
- Years of experience editing online content, including videos on YouTube and social media channels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and active listening skills.
- Ability to work from home in a quiet space, free from distraction.
- A strong and reliable internet connection.
- A basic background or passion for eCommerce and/or website building is a definite asset.
- Experience in the luxury goods market or similar industries is highly desirable. Experience in apparel, and accessories industry is desirable.
