seeking a dynamic and results-oriented electrical Technician to join our innovative team.

Job purpose

As an Electrical Technician at Zircon Energy Solutions, you will be instrumental in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our cutting-edge water and solar energy systems. Your primary

responsibility will be to apply your technical knowledge and skills to ensure the efficient operation of our energy solutions, adapting to the diverse needs of our clients. You will work closely with the technical

team to implement systems that meet high standards of reliability and sustainability.

An Electrical Technician supports the organization's objectives by ensuring optimal performance of energy systems, contributing to the achievement of sales targets through enhanced system reliability and customer satisfaction, and excelling in a technically demanding environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting and repair of Electric Submersible and surface Electric and Solar pumps.
• Installation, Troubleshooting and repair of On and Off-Grid Solar and Backup Systems and Equipment’s
• Programming of PLC controllers.
• Testing of water pumps and solar equipment’s
• Providing accurate and detailed quality sites reports.
• Field visits and assessments

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Technologist in engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Instrument/Control) with At least 2 Years of Experience in a similar role
• EIZ Membership
• Working knowledge in programming of PLC and BMS systems will be an added advantage.
• Basic Plumbing working knowledge will be added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
• Excellent Presentation, Planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events as required.
• Valid driver's license is an added advantage
