Role Purpose:

The Data Analyst will support the Data Analyst within the newly formed acquisitions team, providing the analysis completed on incoming loan portfolios. This position requires analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and an understanding of lending practices. The successful candidate will work closely with the Data Analyst ensuring that all data required has been reviewed on all incoming loan portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Management

• Assist in the gathering and integration of Data received, collecting from various sources, both internally provided and external databases.
• Assist in the cleaning and validation of all data, ensuring the quality and standardising the data sets into a pre-advised format eliminating errors.

Data Analytics

• Review provided loan data, assisting in the production of reports.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Assist in providing a valuation of loan portfolios by applying appropriate financial models and assumptions, considering interest rates, prepayment risks, and current market conditions.
• Maintain up-to-date records of data received from prospective portfolios.

Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of regular reports on the loan portfolios as and when required but also for the end of the month reporting to CEO and external stakeholders.
• Conduct analysis of loan portfolio trends and provide insights to the Data Analyst.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate key findings to the team.
• Provide summaries on the data reviewed and assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for final decision making.

Role Requirements:

• Experience in data analytics within a real estate company or related industry.
• Proven ability to analyse and interpret complex loan and financial data, identifying key trends and providing insights to support business decisions.
• Exceptional accuracy in handling numerical data, with a keen eye for detail ensuring high-quality data analysis and reporting.
• Skilled in using analytical software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for advanced data manipulation, Power BI for dashboard production and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex data insights and interacting effectively with internal teams.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
