Role Purpose:

The Documentation Analyst will work within the newly formed acquisitions team, supporting the Documentation Analyst in the management and administration of incoming loan portfolios. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of lending principles and practices. The successful candidate will work closely with the Documentation Analyst to ensure the efficient and effective due diligence is performed on all incoming loan portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation Analysis:

• Assist in reviewing all provided loan documentation, and drafting reports for the Acquisitions team with findings.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to the Documentation Analyst.
• Maintain up-to-date records of loan documents, collateral, and related information.
• Assist in reviewing all interest collections within the portfolio, escalating any concern to the Documentation Analyst.
• Ensuring all security properties are sufficiently registered with Land Registry prior to the acquisition of the portfolios.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Assist in the preparation of regular reports on the loan portfolios documentation as and when required but also for end of the month reporting to CEO and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Assist in the review of loan documents, ensuring compliance with the policies of the original lender and current regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of lending regulations and industry best practices.

Role Requirements:

• Previous experience in lending, loan administration, or portfolio management is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse loan documentation and supporting documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
• Proficient in using loan management software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of lending principles, loan documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
