Role Purpose:

The Investor Coordinator will be responsible for handling financial data, conducting analysis, processing investment transactions, and providing essential support to ensure the smooth running of our investor relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of financial concepts, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams to drive investor portfolio growth. This role would also involve advising our individual & corporate investors on the investment opportunities available to them ensuring they are able to make informed decisions on their investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Portfolio Administration:

  • Ensure all required KYC documents are up to date.
  • Maintain comprehensive investor records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Closely monitor & research available information through external sources to interpret the implications for investors. i.e. changes to interest rates and the implications on property values.
  • Ensure interest payment summaries are kept up to date & manage timely interest payments to the investors.
  • Provide information to the accounts team to maintain live cash flow forecasting.

Financial Data Management:

  • Gather, organise, and maintain financial data for investor portfolios, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensuring all up to date information received from the CEO and COO are recorded correctly and necessary actions are taken promptly.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of investor accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.

Investment Analysis and Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors, ensuring all interest payments made are correctly recorded.
  • Analyse investment portfolios for investors and send monthly, quarterly and yearly summaries as applicable to demonstrate returns on their investments.
  • Prepare year end statements for the investors for their tax return purposes.
  • Prepare summary reports of analysis and discuss with the Chief Operating Officer for future investment discussion opportunities based on risk appetite and personal circumstances for each investor.
  • Ensure relevant approvals are obtained prior to providing the information to internal or external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely response to the investors and adherence to the company policy of responding to emails & phone calls within four hours.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that all investor-related activities comply with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory filing and reports related to investors portfolio management.
  • Keep up to date with legislations and requirements for compliance with the relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti Bribery legislations.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience in investor portfolio administration or investor relations within a lending or financial services company.
  • Previous experience in conducting investment analysis and performance evaluation.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and MS Excel for managing financial data.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
