Job Purpose:

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s social media strategy to enhance online presence, engage with audiences, and drive brand awareness and loyalty. You will collaborate closely with the Branding Team and other departments to create and curate compelling content, manage social media campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to continuously improve our social media efforts.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content plan aligned with the company’s brand and marketing objectives.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for each platform.

Community Engagement:

  • Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster a positive community around the brand.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer feedback and inquiries, and collaborate with customer service to address any issues or concerns.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and manage social media advertising campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Branding Teams to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the Public Relations/Communications Manager, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance our social media presence.

Collaboration and Strategy:

  • Work closely with the Branding Team to ensure cohesive and integrated brand messaging across all platforms.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Sales, Product, and Customer Service, to support company goals and initiatives through social media.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the overall digital marketing strategy.

Success Measures:

  • Increased brand awareness and engagement across social media platforms.
  • Growth in follower base and social media interactions.
  • Successful execution of social media campaigns with measurable results.
  • Positive sentiment and strong community engagement on social media.

  • You are highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • You are data-driven and able to analyze metrics to inform strategy and improve performance.
  • You are proactive, adaptable, and always up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns and growing online communities.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
  • Proficiency with canva, adobe photoshop or figma is a plus.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns is a plus.
