Job Description:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify, engage, and secure new clients through networking, cold calling, and other business development activities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close deals to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of market research, sales processes, and negotiating techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Networking: Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
