Responsibilities:

• Analyse design briefs, conceptualise visuals, and create draft designs.
• Develop creatives and illustrations using Adobe software, paying attention to colour and layout.
• Collaborate with the various internal teams to ensure cohesive final designs.
• Test and refine graphics across various media, incorporating feedback for improvement.
• Maintain consistency in designs, reflecting the Shoora brand and its sub-brands.
• Generate assets for digital platforms while adhering to brand identity guidelines.
• Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement innovative design concepts.
• Stay updated on design trends, including the use of generative AI applications.
• Engage with design communities to enhance the Shoora brand and its sub-brands and foster professional growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience, with a diverse portfolio showcasing creativity and adaptability.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Figma, or similar design software. Familiarity with generative AI design tools is a plus.
• Competence in motion graphics and video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro), with the ability to animate designs and edit videos to align with brand identity.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Sinhala and Tamil is advantageous.
• Strong collaborative skills and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in design practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, maintaining attention to detail and aesthetics.
