Responsbilities and Requirements
• Daily processing of invoices received electronically/via email with a focus on accuracy.
• Generating Accounts Payable weekly payment runs.
• Follow-up and investigation of invoicing that have not passed matching criteria.
• Follow-up on invoices in dispute to ensure timely payments.
• Monitoring, recording, and reporting invoicing transactions.
• Reconciling Stocks & Supplier statements monthly.
• Follow-up and tracking of missing statements and reconciliation items.
• Liaising with suppliers to handle accounts payable queries.
• Identifying improvements to systems, processes, and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
• Assist the finance team with administrative/adhoc requirements as needed.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
• Possessing Accounting Degree in Finance٫ Accounting or Business Administration.
• 1+ years' experience of working as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Well-developed communication and customer service skills.
• A high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and manage your own workload under tight deadlines.
• Effective problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to change including technology advancements.
• Thorough knowledge of office productivity tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and experience working with financial records systems.
