Our client, a skincare brand is looking to hire a Business Manager who will be responsible for business development, prospecting and sales cycle management. Overall, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and business development, and who is looking to take on a leadership role within a growing company.

Responsibilities

Business Development and Operations Management

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and generating revenue for the company. This will involve a strong focus on sales and bringing in new business.
  • Selling skincare products and handling the retail and distribution of these products. This will involve working with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring that orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work on fine-tuning the operations of the company. This may include streamlining processes, implementing new systems and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • People management will also be a key part of the role, as you will need to communicate effectively with staff to ensure that everyone is aligned with the company's goals and objectives. This may involve providing guidance and support, managing conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, preferably in the skincare or cosmetics industry. Experience in the cosmetics or skincare industry is a plus, but not necessarily required.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sales process, and ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with retail and distribution channels, and experience managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, and distributors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and pitches to potential clients.
  • A professional appearance, with good grooming and healthy skin
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • A smart, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Confidence in making suggestions and taking initiative to improve operations and processes
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • A first degree in a related field is compulsory
