Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of defining test planning, test design, test case creation, test execution defect and status reporting to ensure quality software products.
  • Lead and guide the team on planning and executing functional system testing, Regression testing, Performance testing, API testing, Security testing, UAT, etc.
  • Work closely with the development team and client to ensure that quality standards are integrated into the development process to facilitate successful releases while targeting to meet project deadlines.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Work with the engineering team to identify potential application and infrastructure bottlenecks and suggest changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Design, Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in which has 3+ years in Senior Level.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Hands on experience in performance testing frameworks and automated testing tools such as JMeter, Selenium Automation, Jest or Protractor or Cypress.
  • Solid understanding of planning and implementing QA processes, testing techniques, and best practices across a segment.
  • Excellent Leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent time management skills.
