Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategy for internal purposes and multiple clients
  • Develop and implement content strategy, keyword lists, and on-page optimization recommendations.
  • Develop and implement link building campaigns for client websites to improve their authority and credibility.
  • Perform technical SEO website audits, identify issues, and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Analyse performance data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally with the in-house Content, Web Development, Creative & Motion Design, and UI/UX Design Teams on client projects.
  • Define, set up, and track SEO metrics and KPIs.
  • Communicate SEO goals to clients for buy-in regarding changes required to meet these goals.
  • Develop proactive strategic plans based on SEO trends.
  • Handle client accounts and communication (facilitate client calls) about account performance, strategy, and implementation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO best practices, partners, tools, and technology.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience within the SEO space as an SEO Manager or a similar capacity.
  • Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush or other SEO tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and web-based content management systems (WordPress, Hubspot, etc.)
  • Advanced and well-rounded knowledge in SEO, including on-page, off-page, and technical.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with a great eye for attention to detail.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with buyer personas and funnel stages.

Additional skills that would be an added advantage (not a must-have):

  • Local SEO
  • YouTube SEO
  • Understanding and/or experience with international domains and multiple language websites.
  • Understanding and/or experience with web development
  • Experience with programmatic SEO.
  • Experience with SEO A/B testing.
