The Role: Financial Controller Oceans is seeking highly ambitious candidates in Sri Lanka to become Financial Controllers. Oceans Controllers are responsible for all accounting functions and financial controls, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, general ledger, payroll (through ADP), and budgeting for their assigned company. In addition to the typical accounting functions, Oceans’ ideal candidates will bring a fresh perspective, new ideas for process improvements, and suggestions to better the overall financial health of their assigned organization.

This role will always be remote/work from home. Pay is competitive and will always be pegged to USD.

Requirements

• Language: Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience: 4+ years working in a communication-heavy position at a reputable firm
• Education: Undergraduate degree preferred; related work experience accepted
• Bonus: CFA, CIMA, or other professional financial certifications strongly favored, but not required
