Work tasks

· Participation in the agile DevOps team and ensuring early feedback on the developed functions through consistent automation of tests

· Realization, execution and documentation of automatic and manual component, integration, system and acceptance tests based on the requirements

· Checking requirements for their testability, creating test cases from identified test objects and creating test scenarios

· Support of the DevOps team in error analysis (3rd level support)

· Active participation in the further development and optimization of development and test processes

· Support in the integration of components to be tested into the test environments

Essential skills

· very good knowledge of German and English

· Successfully completed studies in computer science, comparable qualification or several years of professional experience in the testing of software systems

· in-depth knowledge of web applications and web services as well as secure handling of relevant test tools such as Selenium, Protractor, JMeter and SOAP UI

· Safe use of methods for test case creation and test case execution as well as documentation

· Experience in the integration of Java-based web applications with and without application servers as well as in dealing with relational databases

· Experience in dealing with CI/CD systems and automatic test systems

· Knowledge of operating platforms such as OpenShift desirable

· Strong communication qualities paired with the ability to criticize constructively

· high reliability, independent work and methodical approach as well as fun working in an agile team

· German - Proficient (B2-C1)
