• Strengthening the platform and developer experience teams with a focus on Cloud Native Technology Stack
• Development and operation of private & public cloud environments
• Independent development of managed services for use in software solutions
• Professional and technological consulting of the product owner and software engineering teams on product and project requirements
• Process automation (continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation) and implementation of independent administration and configuration activities
• Evaluation of new technologies and continuous training
• Documentation of best practice approaches and support in cross-departmental knowledge exchange

Essential skills

• Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable field of study or an IT-technical vocational training with relevant professional experience in a comparable position
• Expertise in dealing with Enterprise Kubernetes; ideally experience with Red Hat OpenShift
• ideally experience in operating hybrid cloud environments with AWS
• additional experience with one or more of the following technologies: Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault, Elastic Stack, RabbitMQ, Apigee, JupyterHub
• Professional experience in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines as well as in the deployment of large software applications advantageous
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and API design (REST, messaging)
• Basic understanding of network infrastructures (routing, load balancing, DNS)
• analytical, service-oriented way of working and enjoyment of working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)
