Here’s what your day will look like in this role:

• Design and execute test scenarios based on requirements, user stories and feedback from other team members

• Align with the team to define which tests are suitable to automation

• Hands-on approach to test automation

• Responsible for conducting the automated testing, including analysis of the results

• Actively participate in Agile Ceremonies - gather information about requirements and translate functional documentation into Test sets

• Carry out testing as per the defined procedures

• Test mobile and web applications

• Evangelize and continuously improve the "Test First" mentality across our teams

Technologies we use:

• Frontend: React NextJS

• Backend: Java Spring boot, TestContainers, Lombok, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Solr, Kafka

• Infrastructure: Azure, Terraform, k8s, Docker

Here are some of the key strengths and capacities that we are looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science, or evidence of relevant experience

• 2yrs+ of experience dealing with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, TDD, and others

• Experience with coding using Java (v8+) and/or Python(v3.6+)

• Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, Rest Assured, Cypress, JUnit, Mockito

• Experience in working with Agile methodologies

• Experience in identifying, design and execute test scenarios

• Experience or interest in continuous integration and deployment

• Experience with product management such as Jira and test management tools such as TestRail or X-ray

• Experience with a variety of different git workflows such as GitLab flow or GitHub flow

• Proficiency in English

• Experience with performance/load/stress testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter (nice to have)

• ISTQB Foundation Certification (nice to have)
